Turmeric Rice

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 heaped tsp turmeric
Method:
  1. Add rice to a microwave rice cooker, stir through the turmeric
  2. Add water
  3. Place in microwave on high for 5 minutes and then on 20% for 15 minutes
  4. Leave stand for a while and then fluff up with a fork before serving
